Welcome

I offer compassionate, client-centred counselling for individuals, couples, and families seeking greater balance, resilience, and emotional well-being. With over two decades of experience as a first responder, I bring a deep understanding of the unique stressors, cumulative trauma, and emotional demands faced by those working in high-stress, service-oriented roles. My work is grounded in a strong commitment to supporting individuals, as well as their spouses and families, by providing a safe, confidential space to process experiences, regulate the nervous system, and restore a sense of calm and stability. My approach is person-centred and trauma-informed, recognizing that each individual brings their own strengths, values, and lived experiences into the therapeutic space. I walk alongside my clients so they do not feel alone as they develop greater self-awareness, identify personal strengths, and learn healthy coping strategies to navigate the stressors of everyday life. Together, we explore practical tools to support emotional regulation, improve communication, and strengthen relationships with both self and others. I believe healing and growth occur within a respectful, collaborative relationship where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you, but about supporting you in reconnecting with your inner resources, building resilience, and moving toward a life that feels more grounded, meaningful, and aligned with your values.

Connect with Olivia today

In-person sessions will be facilitated at 4 Parkdale Crescent NW on the second floor of the Apex Massage building. For your session, enter the building and check in at the front desk. At the time of our appointment, I will come and get you from the waiting room. There is one and two hour free parking available at the front of the building and on the streets surrounding the building. ​ My office is on the second floor that requires utilizing stairs for access. Should accessibility be a concern, I am available for virtual sessions.

Cancellation 

I understand that life happens and that there are times when there is a need to cancel a session. I kindly ask for 48 hours notice out of respect for myself and other clients who may be in need of that time slot, and to avoid being charged for a full session.

Coverage

Most insurance plans cover at least a portion of psychological services with a Canadian Certified Counsellor. Please check your coverage with your specific provider. I currently do not direct bill but am more than happy to provide you with an invoice for you to submit to your insurance company.
